Welcome to the Preschool Class main page
This year, we will be focusing on basic values and introducing major Jewish holidays. Through storytelling, books, games, artwork, dancing, and singing, we will be exploring Yom Kippur/Rosh Hashanah, Sukkot, Hannukah, Purim, Passover, and Yom Ha’atzmaut. Tied into these holidays will be a set of fundamental values such as: tzedakah, tikkun olam, compassion, environmental care, giving thanks, overcoming obstacles, and the importance of family. Other topics that will be covered include: what Shabbat is, what traditions are, celebrations, and reflection. I am looking forward to a fun year with the littles!
